LASER
GUM TREATMENT
Laser Gum Treatment at
The Smiles Dr involves using the state-of-the-art OPUS 5 Diode
Laser which often allows gentle gum procedures to be completed
without open periodontal surgery. Conservative laser procedures
are fast, easy and virtually painless.
Our dental laser can be
used for many soft tissue procedures in place of a scalpel.
The dental laser has many advantages over scalpel use. The
dental laser uses an invisible energy beam to perform soft
tissue procedures more efficiently and comfortably for our
patients.
The dental laser offers
little to no bleeding, swelling, infection or post-operative
discomfort and also eliminates the need for most sutures (stitches).
We find the dental laser to be very effective in increasing
the quality of our dental care.
